Tayside Biodiversity Festival, May 2010
A wide range of events celebrating Tayside’s rich wildlife and landscapes are taking place in May 2010 and PKRSG will be involved, attending the following:
1st May 2010, 10am – Official Festival Launch
Come and join us at the newly planted Lade Orchard along with specially invited guests, for the launch of Tayside Biodiversity Month! There will be over 30 stalls and activities at Tulloch Primary School for the for the launch of Tayside Biodiversity Month.
19th May 2010, 2pm – Atholl Palace Tree Walks
PKRSG will be teaming up with gardners Innes Smith & Kenny Macpherson at the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry to take part in a guided walk around the grounds of the Atholl Palace Hotel to look at the Heritage Trees planted in the 1870’s. Hopefully we will see also some of the red squirrels that live in the grounds. A squirrel information stall will be available in the hotel.
