Towards the west of Chicago is the beautiful city of Wheaton. I explored a plethora of attractions in this city. As a matter of fact, there are so many things to do that you are never going to run out of options. When you visit Wheaton, here are a few things that you need to check out.

Cantigny Park

This is one of the prime attractions of the city. I spend several hours in this park. Just pick a spot and relax. This park will help you to get away from the daily drudgeries of your life. Take a leisurely stroll in the garden. However, if you want to be active, check out the nature trails. There is the First Division Museum where you will be able to learn a lot of things.

Cosley Zoo

I had a fun and entertaining day at Cosley Zoo. It is a great place to visit with your family. There are native and farm animals that you will be able to see at the zoo. I caught a glimpse of red foxes, white-tail deer, coyote, and bobcats to name a few. Watch the animals being fed. This is going to be a unique experience. It is open through the year.

Morton Arboretum

This is also called the outdoor tree museum by the founder. It covers an area of 1,700 acres and has over 222,000 plants. Spending time among nature helped me to unwind. Walk, explore, or have a picnic with your family. It is also known to host events such as origami and painting for kids.

French Market

Wheaton French Market is organized every Saturday from the month of April to the month of November. Here, you can buy some French-inspired jewelry, flowers, produce, crafts, and some foods. I collected some souvenirs to carry back home.

West Palm Beach is a Wonderful Vacation Option

West Palm Beach is a wonderful city having lots of scenic beauty and adventure places. This city is in South Florida and it separate from Palm Beach, which is in a neighbor by the Lake Worth Lagoon. My last vacation was in West Palm Beach and enjoyed this place with my family a lot. You have here everything, beaches, park, museums and adventure sports, etc. My tour guide helped me to plan my vacation systematically, but if you do not want to spend on a guide, my experience will help you in planning your vacation. Lots of world-class events take place in West Palm Beach, so if you are planning for a vacation, check out some event dates and reach here during the same time.

I started my tour of West Palm Beach from Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society, it is a non-profit organization and well maintained. The zoo has over 500 different species of animals. Many of the animals here are endangered species. The zoo also has lush green area spread in 23 acres. I enjoyed the natural beauty of this place, its trails. The charges to get in this zoo is 22$ for adults.

The second spot was Rapids water park, the park is present near Riviera Beach and that’s why it has lots of natural beauty. I can still feel the thrill of rides I took there. The area is big and so you won’t feel uncomfortable. The ticket charge is 50$ for an adult which is a fair deal.

I got to know about Peanut Island from locals of West Palm Beach and so I took a short trip to this place and it was worth taking the pain. You have lots of adventure option here from snorkeling, camping, bunker making, swimming to enjoying some water sports.
